Day 1
SAM DUNES CAMP
We arrive at Sam Dunes, Jaisalmer,on 24 February 2025. Registration and Orientation will begin in the evening at the Desert Glamping campsite. A talk on bike preparation, riding position, throttle control, and other aspects of desert riding for the uninitiated will conclude the day.
Day 2
SAM- LONGEWALA - SAM- 345 km
After breakfast, we head out to Tanot and Longewala. Options are available for taking sandy trails (for Tigers and Scramblers only) or the beautifully paved roads (for all the bigger road bikes) to the border with Pakistan. Both groups will meet for lunch at Ramgarh. At Longewala, the Army Museum and the documentary film are well worth visiting. Riding back via the Bharat Mala highway to Sam offers a completely different experience. Riders will have the opportunity to get to know each other and experience the terrain they will encounter over the next few days of riding.
Day 3
JAISALMER- BIKANER - 410 km
Starting early, we will take the unknown paved road from Sam towards Mohangarh and Bikampur. This road runs alongside the Rajasthan Canal and is mostly paved with fine tarmac. After Bikampur, the road offers us a choice between tarmac and off-road routes. For those wishing to try their sand riding skills, a 15-kilometre sandy trail, part of a longer stage of the Desert Storm Rally, is available. Those who prefer to stay on the highway can continue on the smooth tarmac. After a lunch stop at Bap, we will continue to our overnight halt at Bikaner.
DAY 4
BIKANER- MANVAR - 236 km
After breakfast, we depart for Deshnok to visit the renowned Karni Mata Temple, famously dedicated to the worship of rats. Following this unique experience, we proceed to the dunes at Mayakor, where adventure riders can attempt to climb the undulating sand hills. Basic sand riding training will be provided to assist those who are trying this for the first time. From Mayakor, we travel south to the Khichan Bird Sanctuary, where we anticipate witnessing hundreds of Demoiselle Cranes congregating to feed. This is truly a memorable sight. We will spend the night in Manvar.
DAY 5
MANVAR- PUSHKAR - 290 km
We leave early and run eastward toward Pushkar, crossing Jodhpur halfway through. The run is through tarmac roads and should be a short day. Arriving early at Pushkar is good for those who want to catch the magnificent sights or even go to Ajmer for the blessings of the saint there. We will spend the night at this location.
DAY 6
PUSHKAR- SAMBHAR - JAIPUR - 210 km
Our last riding day heads out from Pushkar and runs north to the white marble mines at Makrana. The marble is often compared to that of the Italian Carrara mine! From viewing the deep open-pit mines, we move onwards to the famous saltwater Sambhar Lake bed, famous for its pink salt and rides. Right through its hard-packed surface. Many call it the Bonneville Salt Flat of India, where the flat surface stretches almost to the horizon. We head to the capital city of Jaipur, where we conclude our ride. A certification ceremony and dinner will close the day.
DAY 7
JAIPUR- HOME
Riders leave for their respective destinations, homeward bound after breakfast.
Best suited for beginner to Intermediate/expert level of riders.
For more details do get in touch with the team.
We have the best team for the task. With instructor level riders who are also very well versed with the terrain and weather.
Every member is hand-picked and cued to the task.
The coordination starts many days before the ride where the team can guide you through thee many aspects of preparing for a ride like this.
There are multiple options for this we recommend 2 methods.
- Where the whole bike is packed in a crate
- A dedicated truck where the bike is securely held at the wheels and tied down securely. (No additional luggage to be transported in the truck) – this can be done if there are enough people from one location.
For crate transportation one vendor is VRL (point of contact – 9423751534 - WhatsApp) he can then guide you to the relevant local manager in your area.
Alternatively, riders from one city can get together to arrange suitable transport
The triumph team can also direct you to some vendors we have used in the past. But the transaction if between you and the vendor
Yes, you can bring a pillion along with you for the ride.

We would recommend you to get in touch with the team for further guidance.
